AURIGA Astronomy provide a bespoke service for Museums and visitor attractions.

Our public 'UFO' dome allows easy access via a zipper entrance, to allow all sections of the community from the young to the elderly to view our shows. We offer two main show types, either full dome star projections allied to video, these shows require the audience to sit on the floor during the show, or purely Video where the audience sits on chairs (the museum provides the chairs).

We design our shows performed at Museums/Visitor attractions to be different from our school programs (unless a school program is requested). This ensures your visitors will not have seen the show at a local school, and therefore increases the demand for tickets. Where possible we will write a new show for the museum, or alter an existing show, again this gives added value to our time with you, as members of the public will not have seen the shows before.

We operate a simple pricing structure for Museums/Visitor Attractions, £275 per day, plus mileage (if applicable). For this the museum gets up to 6 shows (at a timetable mutually set). If you wish to charge for admission to the dome, that is your prerogative, we simply request our fee, therefore you can if you wish turn a dome visit into a fund raising event.

For larger events i.e. non-dome shows, multiple dates or evening star gazing sessions, we will happily quote you a price, depending on your requirements.

We usually provide display boards for outside the dome, containing interesting astronomy/space science artefacts/posters etc. This adds to the overall quality of the presentation, and provides something for you general visitors to see whether they go in the dome or not.

Ringworld Saturn, Mars the Red Planet, Venus our Fiery Twin, Myths & Legends of the skies, Flight though the Solar System, Comets,  Asteroids & Meteors.

One important note, we operate a strict 21 day invoice period for museums (we are a small business and cannot afford the normal museum 60 day delay)
